Today is a somber day in the city of Los Angeles and beyond. At STAPLES Center, Vanessa Bryant and their family celebrated Kobe and Gianna Bryant’s life through a public memorial.
Among those in attendance were those closest to Kobe, like Phil Jackson, Magic Johnson, Jeannie Buss, Derek Fisher, Lamar Odom, Byron Scott, Brian Shaw, Lisa Leslie and others like SHAQ, Jennifer Lopez, James Harden, Russell Westbrook, Coach Gregg Popovich, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, and more.
Vanessa and Michael Jordan were those who spoke to honor the Black Mamba and Gigi and their heartfelt speeches were heartbreaking to hear. MJ even broke down and started crying, joking by saying he’s not ready to see the next meme because of it.
