A lot of fans were disappointed in this year’s dunk contest, because it wasn’t as high flying and showstopping as in previous years with Zach Lavine and Aaron Gordon. Victor Oladipo was a big candidate to win this year’s competition, but he didn’t quite take the crown from the ultimate winner, Donovan Mitchell.
One dunk that nobody got to see from Oladipo was this off-the-backboard with one hand, dunk with the other move. Whether he was holding off on this for the later rounds and didn’t get a chance to show it off remains to be seen, but it could have gotten some good scores from the judges if he would have pulled it off.
Once again, it’s not a jaw dropping display, but still creative.
