Vince McMahon Selling WWE

At the top of the year, Vince McMahon sold his WWE Network to Comcast and NBC platform, Peacock. While the app is missing a large bulk of content, that was built on the WWE Network over many years; it’s looking like Vince isn’t done selling. Today, WWE revealed major releases for Braun Strowman, Aleister Black, Lana, Murphy, Ruby Riott and Santana Garrett.

Now, a former WWE head writer of creative, believes the company is going up for sale. While there’s been speculation throughout the year of Vince selling WWE, we’ve also been given information on this plan. We just waited until somebody with a public name put the information out there for the general public. Since the pandemic started last year, Vince’s flagship show, Monday Night Raw, currently has its lowest ratings ever.

Just last week, it recorded its worst rating all-time, in the nearly 30-year history of the show. With awful booking, writing, corrupt politics, and idiot higherups in charge; many fans have stopped caring about the product. Some are crediting the PG-rating, as to why the decline in product in recent years. However, we believe its just laziness from the writers and more importantly Vince McMahon micromanaging everything.

Last month, he erased an entire script for WWE Raw, just 2 hours before they went live on air. With NBC Universal reluctant to give them a deal, due to poor Raw ratings on USA Network; FOX Networks has also invested money in the Smackdown brand they’re losing money on. We personally haven’t tuned in on a consistent basis in almost 10 years, which says a lot about the people that had hope.

As the majority share owner of this publicly traded company, Vince would likely sign over his portion to the new buyer, that would control the future of WWE. It’s highly unlikely the company will ever close; but we do find it intriguing who would run the new reboot. Vince, Stephanie, HHH and their minions would all have to leave for this thing to ever work again.

Let us know in the comments what you think of Vince McMahon being bought out of his company, exactly 20 years after purchasing ECW and WCW.
