LeBron James Quotes Jay-Z Line in Response to Non-Called Dirty Fouls

What’s a nigga to do?

Saturday night, the Cleveland Cavaliers lost their first post-season game for the 2016 NBA Playoffs, and their performance on the court spoke volumes. From Kevin Love essentially becoming non-existent, Kyrie Irving leaving the court with a chest injury and even Bismack Biyombo (of all people) demanding LeBron James to put some RESPEK on his name – the Cavs have a lot of film to study over the next 24 hours, to ensure this series doesn’t extend past next Wednesday.

During a post-game interview with J.R. Smith, the King shared a story on being low bridged by an opponent, where he fell and broke his wrist. LeBron went to explain how that same situation plays through his head every time somebody tries to rough him up, even if it’s a borderline dirty play.

Before the conversation concluded, he cited Jay-Z’s classic “Streets is Watching” single as the main reason why he chooses to not react to opponents; saying “If I shoot you, I’m brainless, but if you shoot me, then you’re famous.” Whether or not James will keep his brain throughout the series remains to be seen, but we’re sure the physical play of the Toronto Raptors will continue.
