Which Sleepers Did You Target In Your Fantasy Draft?

Hey, it’s me again. The guy who was dumb enough to take Doug Martin with the first overall pick in last year’s draft. I was a rookie at Fantasy Football, what do you expect?

I’m back this year to play again and I’m definitely more polished, after getting a crash course in how it all worked last year. I can’t be mad, though. Even with my first time playing, I made it to the Superbowl in both of my leagues. Beginners luck? Now I’m trying to avoid the sophomore slump and you can’t do it without the sleepers and waiver wire.

Last year, Zac Stacy, Giovani Bernard and Eddie Lacy ended up being some of the sleepers that came through in the clutch for me. One guy I missed out on was Keenan Allen too. He beasted for the second half of the year. Out in Denver Julius Thomas and Deymarius Thomas also broke out in a big way. So did the Kansas City Chiefs defense. Not to mention Josh Gordon, who I stashed in one league and became a goldmine once he got back in the lineup.

It’s too bad he’s going to be selling cars this year, instead of, you know, making millions with the Cleveland Browns and playing for the NFL.

This year, I made sure I did my research before hand and read hours of columns about sleepers and late round picks. Those really make all the difference in the world. Here’s some of the players I targeted and I’m keeping my eye on this season. I didn’t snag all of them in my two leagues, but maybe with some trades, I can swoop in before their value skyrockets.

If you had sleepers I didn’t name, let me know who you have your eye on in the comments.
