A First Look at the Nintendo Switch The Legend of Zelda Gameplay

We all know how much of a nerd Jimmy Fallon is, but he was really geeking out last night when Nintendo stopped by and gave him a few surprises. Not only did he get to try out Super Mario Run (coming to iOS really soon), but he got to try out the upcoming Nintendo Switch game console.

And this was all for the first time ever on television.

At first, he played a level of Super Mario Run in front of Shigeru Miyamoto (the creator of The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario and Donkey Kong), getting the invincibility star and going through the entire stage without dying. Then he was surprised with the SWITCH, which had The Legend of Zelda loaded and he got to see the power of the console, by going from the big screen to a handheld device seamlessly.

Miyamoto also played the Super Mario theme song with The Roots as icing on the cake.
