Goldberg Returns to WWE for the First Time in 12 Years

GOLLLLLLDDDDBERRRRRGGGGGG!

Last night, before John Cena made his return to WWE, Vince McMahon and 2K Sports shocked fans – revealing that Bill Goldberg had officially returned to the company on a legends contract.

Since quitting WWE at WrestleMania 2004, we hadn’t heard or seen from him on programming since; but he did have a major role in the Monday Night Wars weekly series last year.

Above, the debut trailer for WWE 2K17 premieres, Ahead of June’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, as we get a first look at the legendary WCW Champion back in action.

Last year, 2K Sports finally released the first good quality title in their wrestling series, as some of here behind-the-scenes have even touted it as one of the most overlooked games of the year.

Unfortunately, the TV product hasn’t improved since the exit of CM Punk (still miss you bro); but you can look for two versions of Goldberg, as well as WCW arenas to invade consoles this fall.
