NBA 2K18 is around the corner and the 2K Sports has announced their new cover athlete on the heels of the NBA Finals matchup between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors.
Cavs All Star point guard Kyrie Irving has been named the next installment’s cover athlete.
USA Today interviewed Kyrie bout how he plays NBA2K and he said he loves to play with the Chicago Bulls because of Jimmy Butler. Him and his friends also have distinct rules on how to play, that include 6-minute quarters, random team selections, best of five series matchups and no fatigue. Pretty interesting to see how he plays with his boys.
“The opportunity that’s at hand, to be able to grace the cover of 2K, some of the greatest athletes that have played our game have been on this cover, I’m just glad I just joined that lineage.”
If you pre-order NBA 2K18 now, you can cop the game on September 15.
