Play Anywhere begins this fall!
Over the summer at e3 in Los Angeles, Microsoft announced their new implement for Xbox One Play Anywhere titles, which will allow users to purchase a game on the console and also own the Windows 10 version simultaneously. Originally, many believed that this method would work for all new releases on XB1, but Microsoft later clarified that it would be for certain first party titles.
With the company’s fall slate of video games nearing, it’s first three games that offer Play Anywhere have emerged. Gears of War 4, Forza Horizon 3 and ReCore are currently for pre-order at the Microsoft store, as users will own genuine copies on both Xbox One and Windows 10. With Gears 4 and Horizon 3 on sale right now for $59.99, ReCore is currently priced at $39.99 in stores.
Look for more games under the MS umbrella to be unveiled for the program in the coming months.
