Sony Announces Release Date & Price for High-End ‘PlayStation 4K Pro’ Console

Neo no more, PS4 Pro launches November 10 for $399.99!

Moments ago, Sony held their annual PlayStation Meeting in NYC today. While most of the talk around the gaming world was centered on their high-end upgrade of the PlayStation 4, Sony officially shared details for their new 4K and HDR-support console, which isn’t titled Neo anymore.

The new PS4 Pro will arrive this November 10th, yes, this holiday, and will cost $399.99 USD at retailers and online stores. According to lead systems architect Mark Cerny, the Pro is more than double the power of the GPU and boosted clock rate of the CPU of a standard PlayStation 4 and will also feature a 1 terabyte hard-drive out the box for full High Dynamic Range resolutions.

If gaming wasn’t enough for your liking, it’ll also support Netflix and YouTube 4K streaming content, so you’ll be able to enjoy current seasons of Narcos, Daredevil and the upcoming rollout of Luke Cage later this month. Take a look at the list of games you can expect on PS4 Pro before spring 2017.
