Sony Confirms ‘PlayStation Neo 4K’ Will Not Premiere at E3 & Teases Price

PlayStation Neo 4K coming late 2016!

A few days ago, Andrew House confirmed the PlayStation 4 Neo console was indeed real, which some had been in denial about a possible system upgrade over recent months. The President of Sony Interactive Entertainment spoke with The Financial Times, revealing Neo will cost more than the standard $350 price-point of PlayStation 4 and will support all PSVR and PS4 games.

Those of you who were planning for a big surprise at their Monday night e3 event in downtown Los Angeles, will be out of luck. Mr. House went to say, “We want to ensure we have a full range of the best experiences on the new system that we can showcase in their entirety.”

So, while there’s an obvious imminent visual upgrade for VR on the PS4K, we’re curious how big of a leap Neo will be – in comparison to outdated 3-year system. Look for possible details regarding the new console to arrive, presumably after PlayStation VR devices invade retailers this fall.
