At last, the Dream Team is making their way back to the virtual basketball world for the first time since 2012. 2K Sports revealed today that the 2016 U.S. Men’s Olympic basketball team, with coach Mike Krzyzewski, as well as the historic 1992 team featuring Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, the return of Charles Barkley and others will grace NBA 2K17.
In order to ensure you have the Dream Team day one, a pre-order is required, which will also allow you to get your copy four days early through digital stores on September 16th.
It’s unclear if USAB and Take-Two Interactive will continue their relationship for 2020, when Gregg Popovich takes over as head coach; but all signs are likely at this point. Look for more details on hopeful game-play improvements to make its way public within the month.
