Carpool Karaoke with Stevie Wonder

Just when you thought James Corden‘s now beloved Carpool Karaoke segment couldn’t get any better than his previous with Rod Stewart — and special guest A$AP Rocky — The Late Late Show host brings us another installment, featuring music icon Stevie Wonder.

The clip is hilarious from the start. Seeing Corden in the passenger seat talking to at the time an unknown driver, then it’s revealed to be the great Stevie Wonder behind the wheel and Corden has his doubts about letting all this go down, before Stevie realizes he doesn’t have his license with him so James takes the wheel instead. Once they hit the road, Wonder doubts that James has any of his music in the car and they start out with “Superstition” and “Sir Duke.”

The two then take a break from singing to call James’ wife, where Stevie breaks out into song and sings a special song for he and his wife, where James starts to tear up while he does so. They then sing “Isn’t She Lovely.” Towards the end of the car ride, James and Stevie talk about forming a group called the Wondercats, with plans of touring the world and performing new version of old Stevie Wonder favorites, before closing out with a duet of the memorable tunes “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” and “For Once in My Life.”
