Nobody knows whether Ben Affleck will star in the solo Batman film, titled The Batman, at this point. There’s been a ton of rumors around the subject, from Ben stepping down as director to the critical response to Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.
However, his brother might have let the cat out of the bag. Casey Affleck recently stopped by WEEI’s Dale & Holley with Keefe radio show and said that Ben won’t be starring in The Batman, before taking back his words and actually saying that he doesn’t know at all.
“I thought he was an OK Batman,” he joked. “No, he was great. He was great. He’s a hero, so he had something to channel and work with there. But he’s not going to do that movie, I don’t think. Sorry to say. Is that breaking news? Because I was just kind of making that up, I don’t know.”
Believe what you will, but it’s only a matter of time before it comes out.
