Warner Bros. Discusses Noir-Driven Detective Premise for ‘The Batman’

Releasing before or during 2020. . .

One of the most mind-boggling experiences comic film fans have endured, has been the initial rollout for the new DC Film Universe. Last year, the general public greeted both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad with a lukewarm reception. However, DC soon gained popularity this summer with the release of Wonder Woman, which has killed major box offices.

In our opinion, the DC Universe doesn’t officially re-pilot until Ben Affleck has a solo out as the caped-crusader. His official debut film as Dark Knight, The Batman, has seen multiple delays – due to his creative conflict with Warner Bros. Now, War of the Planet of the Apes director Matt Reeves, shared some important information regarding the pending Batman film.

He went to say, “There’s a chance to do an almost noir driven, detective version of Batman that is point-of-view driven in a very very powerful way, that will hopefully connect you to what’s going on inside of his head.” Just 10 days ago, he finished the upcoming Apes film and is in the infantile development state for the detective implement of Bruce Wayne.

Let us know in the comments below if you’re okay with Batman going Noir.
