Last year, the best new series not named Stranger Things, arrived on FX Networks. Donald Glover soon gained acclaimed-success for Atlanta, winning big at January’s Golden Globe Awards – to take home best TV series and actor for the musical/comedy genres.
Well, for whatever reason, the freshman year was held off streaming platforms, as fans had to watch on the official FX Now App if they missed their scheduled DVR.
Today, we’ve learned news that the sophomore season of Gambino’s beloved show will have a stronger presence in the media world, as HULU has acquired official streaming rights to the show.
Unfortunately, it won’t have season one on-demand until weeks leading up to next year’s season two premiere; but HULU will have subsequent episodes available immediately after they air on FX.
With Glover wrapping up production for the Star Wars: Han Solo film and an upcoming role in Disney’s live-action remake of the Lion King, look for more news on the series early next year.
