“JUST CUT TO THE FUCKING CHASE”
In the last teaser, we didn’t get to hear much of what to expect from the upcoming Jimmy Iovine and Dr. Dre documentary. We saw some of the people that would appear, got a teaser of the plot and could only be excited for what Allen Hughes had on deck with this HBO special.
In this new trailer for the documentary, we can now see a few more folks that will appear in it and they include the likes of Bono, Nas, Stevie Nicks, and both Jimmy and Dre. Footage from back in the glory days, plus commentary from the folks mentioned, as they talked about the duo becoming business men after a successful run in the music industry. Even Eminem added his two cents, with Slim Shady making a cameo and explaining their roles together:
“Jimmy Iovine is the levitator. Dre is the innovator”
The four part documentary directed by Hughes is set to hit HBO on July 9 at 9pm.
