Coming Summer Nineteen. .
Last week, FOX released the debut trailer for their long-awaited film, X-Men: Dark Phoenix. The project, which is the first since the death of Logan, saw mixed reviews, as 20th Century Fox surprisingly announced the film was being pushed back from next February to June 9, 2019.
Some believe this is to incorporate the X-Men into Avengers 4; however, that’s not the case, as Disney will allow this film, Gambit, and the New Mutants to releases before they formally takeover.
FOX delayed the film for multiple re-shoots of the motion picture, as well as absorbing an open summer slot for box offices, which both Disney’s MCU and Warner’s DCU opted to not use next year.
