If you’ve been keeping up with promo footage for the upcoming seventh season of Game of Thrones, then you should remember that this year’s theme is the corpse-raising of the Night King.
Teased nearly three years ago through the vision of Bran Stark and the massive attack in the north last year (which resulted in the death of Hodor); we get a look at factions within the seven kingdoms getting ready to prepare for their once-in-a-lifetime stake at the iron throne.
Queen Cersei Lannister starts the trailer saying, “Enemies to the East. Enemies to the West. Enemies to the South. Enemies to the North. Whatever stands in our way, we will defeat it.”
While her concern may be holding the balance of power with twin brother Jaime, an obvious bigger threat is looking to adsorb whatever stands in their way. Take a look above at the action and violence you can expect before the cold storm and great war officially arrives.
