HBO Details Upcoming DC Comics ‘Watchmen’ Series

It’s fucking LIT!

In year’s past, before Warner Bros. decided to reboot their entire DC Comics film division, we really felt the 2009 Watchmen film was ahead of its time. From story-line, character looks and overall setting, it was one of our favorite comic films ever. Now, Home Box Office is planning to give the franchise an official TV series, which we’re assuming will be their answer to Netflix and Marvel’s The Defender’s Universe. Unfortunately, film director Zack Snyder is no longer on board for the small-screen adaption; but Damon Lindelof of The Leftovers has been tapped for the show.

At the moment, the show is in early development, as no official deals are in place just yet.
