HBO Explains why ‘Game of Thrones’ Will Film Multiple Endings in 2018

Coming 2018 or 19?

With production for the final season of Game of Thrones set to begin in a few weeks until summer eighteen, more details have emerged what HBO has in store for their biggest all-time franchise.

This week, the premium network confirmed that due to leaks over the last few years, they will resort to filming multiple series finales in 2018 to prevent spoilers. The final episode will have several different endings according to HBO programming president, Casey Bloys.

In an interview with The Morning Call, he explained the plans for the last episode of Thrones saying, “You have to do that on a long show. Because when you’re shooting something, people know. So, they’re going to shoot multiple versions so that there’s no real definitive answer until the end.”

Due to hackers looking to extort HBO, this will hopefully keep fans in the dark until the show arrives holiday 2018 or early 2019. Look for a possible first teaser to arrive next summer.
