Netflix is really scooping up everyone and their mother because after doing deals with comedians Dave Chappelle and Chris Rock, they have inked a new contract with one of the biggest in the business. Jerry Seinfeld is taking his talents to the streaming giant and he’s bringing himself and new content with him.
Not only will his online web series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee be part of Netflix starting in 2017 (as well as the new 24-episode season hitting the platform this year) but he also has two stand-up specials and additional scripted and non-scripted programming to be developed by the man himself. That means that all of his previous shows will now be on Netflix, not Crackle moving forward and maybe we get a TV show out of it too.
Big move for Netflix.
