For a movie that won’t be released until 2016, Batman Vs. Superman sure has a strong amount of buzz. Today, Warner Brothers kept that hype-train rolling when they announced that Jeese Eisenberg has been cast for the role of super-villian, Lex Luthor.
Based on on Eisenberg’s history of roles, this initially looks extremely left field; but as strange as it seems, we can see it working. This also points in the direction that in the film, Luthor will be quite young, battling the Man Of Steel and Caped Crusader. This is not the first surprising actor that has been cast in this movie, as fans were down right shocked when Ben Affleck was announced as Batman for the film.
Though the movie has been pushed back until 2016, there are still tremendous expectations for it’s release. We will continue to update with more details on the cast as they become available.
