While her new recent lyrics may be alarming to new listeners, Jhené Aiko goes in-depth on the background behind her latest single “Maniac.” The TWENTY88 singer sat-down with Rob Markman of GENIUS, as she reflected on her past teen years of being around peers and her older siblings – who taught her things that she wasn’t supposed to know of.
After teasing a hilarious story of using smoothie drinks as a prop to reference sexual situations during her teenage years in school, Mr. Markman soon reflected on her past lyrics on “Hoe,” that made him an instant fan nearly seven years ago.
The Los Angeles girl continued window shopping at Luxe Lingerie in Beverly Hills, where the two even came across some sex toys. While she’s into the real thing, at the moment, Aiko didn’t close out the possibility of eventually exploring that side of things down the line.
