Warner Bros. Pictures has revealed the much-anticipated first trailer for the upcoming JOKER movie.
Joaquin Phoenix plays the leading role of Arthur Fleck / Joker, a failed stand-up comedian who turns turns to a life of crime in Gotham City. “I used to think that my life was a tragedy,” the character says in the trailer. “But now I realize, it’s a comedy.”
JOKER hits theaters October 4th, also starring Robert De Niro, Zazie Beetz, Bill Camp, Frances Conroy, Brett Cullen and many others.
