Coming in with the most GRAMMY nominations of any artist in this year’s class, it’s no surprise that Kendrick Lamar is riding the wave all the way to the podium.
The award’s show has actually cooked up an ad for the occasion, taking things all the way to Compton to show where things started for K Dot. “Witness Greatness” has kids rapping his lyrics from “Alright” in multiple areas in the CPT, right before Kendrick comes in and performs the single to a small group of his city’s own.
The only question remaining is how many of the 11 nominations Dot is taking home. The 58th Annual GRAMMY Awards go down on Monday, February 15 at 8pm EST on CBS.
