Kendrick Lamar Leaves Reebok to Form Partnership with Nike

After a few years under the Reebok umbrella promoting the classics, Kendrick Lamar is moving on to greener pastures and forming a partnership with Nike. He announced on Twitter the new endeavor saying, “Cortez. Since day one. #teamnike” as a sign of the the relationship he has formed with the sneaker giant.

It has been in the works behind the scenes, but some of the hints he’s dropped lately, like rocking Nike’s at the end of the “ELEMENT.” video and the fact that Kobe Bryant challenged him to revolutionize the music program at Centennial High School on Instagram thanks to his Mamba Mentality pack that is a collaboration with Nike.

As of now, there are no details of how the two sides will work together, but we can only assume a Kung Fun Kenny pair of Cortez drops soon.
