Hometown love for the king
The LeBron James homecoming will never end. At least not this season. Expect every commercial, announcer and NBA fan to talk about him returning to Cleveland after leaving Miami until the season ends. And if they win, whether it’s the conference finals or the NBA championship, the story will continue.
Sprite followed LBJ to Patterson Park in Akron, OH for their latest commercial spot, where ‘Bron sat and watched a playground games with hundreds of kids watching as fans. The “First Home Game” campaign shows him in the midst of his home town natives, until the game was over and he wanted to join in the blacktop match.
With the NBA season starting this week, expect to see this on TV a lot soon.
