The news is still in “early talks,” but it looks like LeBron James‘ SpringHill Entertainment is in the beginning stages of developing a Friday the 13th reboot with Vertigo Entertainment.
Considering James is now in Los Angeles, it’ll be easier to develop films and other projects, especially when he has an affinity for the franchise and/or character.
As of now, directors and writers are being evaluated to take on the film.
Considering Halloween is doing so good at the box office, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that other reboots of classics will be ramped up in the years to come.
