Lil Wayne Revealed to Be The Robot On FOX’s “The Masked Singer”

FOX has a hit show on their hands with The Masked Singer. The singing competition series has been gaining more and more popularity since the days of T-Pain being The Monster and last night only catapulted even higher with the premiere of Season 3 after the Super Bowl.

While there are other incredible vocalists on the show, one that didn’t advance to the next round was The Robot, who happened to be none other than Lil Wayne.

Weezy F. Baby performed a cover of Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way” during his time on stage and managed to get the lowest score of the night, prompting an elimination and subsequent taking off of the mask. It came as great shock to all the show panelists and guest judge Jamie Foxx as well.

Among their guesses for who was in costume: Shaun White, Johnny Knoxville and Flavor Flav.

Wayne said he did it for the kids because he knew they would like The Robot. After the show, he also spoke on his experience and why it was so different than anything he’s ever done. From the choreography to the secrecy.

The Martian just released his Funeral album this past week, which should boost his sales after this big cameo on the hit FOX series.
