Marvel Scraps Two-Part ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ Series

Avengers 3 will simply be titled. . . .

When Marvel Studios first revealed phase 3 of their MCU, two films that were top priority in the eyes of many fans, were Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Avengers: Infinity War Part 2.

However, Marvel and Disney are changing their initial itenerary this summer, regarding the next film headlined by their flagship franchise. Anthony & Joe Russo, who directed Captain America: The Winter Soldier and this year’s Captain America: Civil War, were handed the reins of the third installment in the Avengers series, which will now be simply titled Avengers: Infinity War.

WIth the film still set for a May 4, 2018 release, the movie companies will still offer up their untitled Avengers project the year after on May 3, 2019 after the original plans and possible script plans were completely scrapped. Let us know in the comments if this move intrigues your interest.
