The King of Queensbridge is invading BET Networks!
Following the major ratings success of last week’s, The New Edition Story, BET is quickly moving ahead in presented the world with more biopic miniseries content. The network has confirmed that their next upcoming music film will, be centered around the life of Nasir Jones.
The Queensbridge rapper will have duties as executive producer for the music-infused period scripted project, currently titled Street Dreams. The film will follow Escobar in the early ‘90s – presumably during the creation process of his classic project, Illmatic. Look for more details on the miniseries that gives a look into his street hustling days and beyond in the coming months.
