Premiering later this month
Before the world meets Jason Momoa as Aquaman later this year in DC’s Justice League, he’s gearing up for the release of his new series, Frontier. With the show set for a premiere later this month, Netflix shares the debut trailer for the 1700s historical-drama series.
The former Game of Thrones star assumes the role of outlaw Declan Harp, who’s set to takedown the British Empire and their control of wealth and power abuse in the North American fur trade.
Set in Canada, we get a glimpse of the imminent bloody violence and fights between Native tribes and Europeans during the previously mentioned time period. Look for the six-episode first season to debut this January 20th – which has already been renewed for a second season.
