Being that Laker legend Kobe Bryant has officially left the game of basketball, many sneaker fiends wondered what would be the new direction of his sneaker franchise and what was coming in the future. The good folks over at Nike Basketball have finally decided to reveal what the Black Mamba has cooked up for the players on the court to rock during the 2016-2017 NBA season, officially unveiling the Kobe A.D. Mr. Bryant decided to stray away from the general way of numbering his kicks, this time around he decided to get some Biblical inspiration and deem the kicks “A.D” instead of his 12th signature model.
The low-cut Kobe A.D model features a complete mesh and Dynamic Flywire upper with Nike’s innovative Lunarlon technology on the forefoot. The kicks also include a comfy Zoom air cushioning system in the heel to help with durability on the court.
The first colorway of the brand new Nike Kobe A.D’s will be available November 21st over at the Nike Basketball online shop and also over at select sports footwear retailers worldwide. Check out a few detailed images of the kicks above.
