Quentin Tarantino Reportedly Open to Directing the Next ‘Star Trek’ Film

Only 2 more films?

In recent years, Quentin Tarantino has been planning to retire from directing films in the movie industry. While he’s two years removed from The Hateful Eight, the legendary filmmaker was at LAX this weekend and ran into TMZ. For whatever reason, the crew staged asked him whether or not he would be interested in directing and producing the next official Star Trek film.

He immediately said he would be open to having a meeting with Paramount Pictures regarding a possibly; but still remained certain that he was only doing two more projects. Given the franchise’s recent success with J.J. Abrams and Simon Pegg, it makes us wonder if only making back double from a $150 million investment has the film giant wanting to switch things up.

Let us know if you want to see Mr. Tarantino direct the next Trekkie film.
