Rhi Rhi gets hot and sexy for V Magazine 95 Summer Issue

Rihanna has the magazine game On SMASH this year, as she’s already covered 5 magazine issues — and it’s only April! For her latest spread, the Barbadian superstar graces the cover of V Magazine‘s 2015 Summer issue. Shot by legendary NY-based photographer Steven Klein and styled by Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele, the spread features a little retro vibe that has our Bad Gal looking sensational in bikini bottoms and a little less, while dawning a blonde wig look that’s reminiscent to Lil’ Kim during her appearance on Ricki Lake in ’97.

With the spread comes also a revealing interview with Rihanna. Where she dishes details out about her upcoming eighth studio album, her single “FourFiveSeconds,” her Instagram account, privacy and much more. Below, you can read a few excerpts taken from the issue.

On privacy: “Do I even give a dick about that anymore?”

On responding to people who say she’s taken time off: “I didn’t actually take time off. The past two years are the hardest I’ve ever worked. I’ve been working on two albums, an animated film, shooting for multiple magazines, designing for Puma and Stance [socks], a new line of fragrances, a summer tour, I launched my first annual Diamond Ball at the end of last year, and I’ve also been developing several projects to be revealed in the near future.”

On her upcoming 8th studio album: “Dude, I’m in love with my interludes. This one called ‘James,’ joint is on constant repeat. [The album is] soulful and aggressive, whether it’s lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice.”

On her single FourFiveSeconds: “The thing that made me fall in love with [‘FourFiveSeconds’] is the juxtaposition of the music and the lyrics. When you read the lyrics it’s a completely different song than what you are hearing. The music is easygoing, but the lyrical content is very loud and in your face. In performing this, the key was to make sure the aggression wasn’t lost.”

On her Instagram account: “I run away from anything that does not stimulate me. I often find myself gravitating toward the underground. There is a certain creative freedom there that you can’t experience anywhere else.” – via PerezHilton

Be sure to pre-order the issue now, before it hits stands on May 7th.
