Look for ‘Venom’ to hit the big screen fall eighteen!
With the Spider-Man Universe set to formally be rebooted in a few weeks for Homecoming, Sony is wasting no time with ensuring their big spinoff is ready for next year. This weekend, Sony Pictures has revealed that Oscar-nominated actor, Tom Hardy, will assume the lead role for Eddie Brock, as he’s in officially final contract negotiations. The studio also found their director, landing Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) to help curate the affair. With the October 5, 2018 theatrical release still set in place, Marvel still has plans of readying a Silver Sable and Black Cat joint-film; which will be the second extension of releases from the SMU stable.
