Over the last 6 months, Warner Bros. has generated nearly $2 billion in revenue for films Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad hasn’t been thrilled about its reviews. While both motion pictures were a success in the box offices worldwide from loyalist, both DC and Warner Bros. received criticism over the direction of its current crop of films through their cinematic universe.

In a recent interview, Time Warner CEO Jeff Bewkes addressed the flack his film division with DC Comics has seen this year – including admitting that there’s a need for improvement going forward.

With Ben Affleck helming his own stand-alone Batman film in 2018, as well as next year’s Justice League hitting the big screen, Bewkes believes the collection of projects are heading for the right direction, as far as quality – as Warner Bros. isn’t gearing up for changing any of its original plans.
