If you remember last holiday, Universal Pictures revealed plans to extend their billion dollar Fast & Furious franchise with spinoffs and sequels. Well, only a few weeks removed from revealing Furious 8 would be hitting theaters next year on April 14th, Vin Diesel has taken time from shooting the reboot of xXx, to formally announce dates for the new Fast and Furious trilogy.
The 48-year-old actor soon posted a photo with a caption saying “April 14, 2017, for the eighth film; April 19, 2019, for the ninth; and April 2, 2021, for the 10th.” While some fans may not accept the new Fast and the Furious cinematic universe, we’re sure they’ll have a change of heart nearing each project’s theatrical roll-out.
