Over the summer, Disney made a questionable move, with abruptly firing James Gunn from the Marvel Film Universe. This immediately effected many actors under their umbrella; as some sided with Gunn; who said some derogatory comments on social media many years ago.
Well, Warner Bros. is looking to capitalize on their troubled DC Comics Film Universe, as The Wrap reports that Gunn is in talks to write and direct Suicide Squad 2. With Guardians of the Galaxy 3 on indefinite hold, the DC anti-hero sequel is set to begin filming late next year, after Will Smith’s schedule is cleared; and will likely now aggressively move to his official solo spin-off film.
