This short documentary travels to Brooklyn and goes inside the Brooklyn Steppers Marching Band, as they compete in the 2012 Battle of the Drumlines, against some of the best drumlines in the tri-state area. North Carolina A&T Cold Steel was this year’s special guest and boy did they put on a show.
The video explains what the purpose of the drumline is to the Brooklyn youth and how it can benefit them not only to keep them away from the streets, but also as an outlet to help them in the future, encouraging them to go to college and pursue their dreams.
