Maybe it’s the fact that its late night and sleep is the cousin of death and it hasn’t hit us yet, but Spike Jones, in conjunction with Absolut Vodka (the same people who sponsored the Jay-Z documentary), presents this short film titled “I’m Here” which actually premiered and got good reviews at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.
It is unclear as to why robots are living amongst people, but the point of the movie goes beyond that. We’re definitely no movie critics but the fact that this was pleasantly original and it actually touched a topic we can all relate to (the sacrifice in relationships?), speaks for itself. Even if it was robot people. This was the same person who brought you the Kanye West “We Were Once A Fairytale” mini film though, so we knew some crazy shit was about to go down throughout the course of watching it. If you have about 35 minutes to kill, we suggest you check this out.
