The Nick Cannon and Eminem beef was in full force last year when Slim Shady took shots at him and his ex-wife Mariah Carey thanks to a verse on Fat Joe’s Family Ties album. Though “Lord Above” isn’t the first time he’s fired a verbal assault on Nick or Mariah, Cannon was quick to fire back with a slew of disses Against Marshall Mathers.
At this time, Em has been mum on all of the conflict, but as 50 Cent told The Wrap at ABC’s Television Critics Association press tour promotion his show For Life, he had some sound advise for his friend Slim:
“I told him don’t even say nothing to him. The record is terrible. You can’t argue with a fool. When you understand that a person is not registering even when they’re losing, then the argument goes forever. So you should just stop.”
It’s unsure if Em will respond to Nick at this point, but considering the backlash he received online, most think Shady will destroy the TV and radio host.
Crazy enough, Cannon thought he actually won the battle.
