Having dealt with several medical issues, notable soul icon Bobby Womack sadly passed away yesterday. Upon the news, producer 9th Wonder chose to share his respect for the musician by releasing every instrumental he has created using a sample of Womack. The collection appropriately titled Farewell To The Soul Man includes 11 tracks from the career of the Jamla leader, in order to pay tribute to the ongoing inspiration given to artists down the years. Rest in peace Bobby Womack.
