A brand that has been making its way to the forefront of vaporizers in the past year has undoubtedly been GPEN. The oil based vaporizer has seen many recent collaborations with artists such as Action Bronson and The Game, but they’ve been making moves even before they started branching out to music. Recently, OnSMASH caught up with Chris Folkerts, who launched GPEN after seeing the lack of products in the portable vaporizer market and open lane to take advantage of.
In our sit down with him, he explained how he developed the technology, from getting the first prototype at a pizza parlor, through now transcending into art, music and athletes and really growing organically through his connections and background in music. Even with as many hurdles as he experienced through the process, he and his team fought through it and made it happen. What brings the most joy to Chris, is seeing people who’s lives changed through the product. People with cancer, folks with pain ailments and many others have found the GPEN very helpful in their battle with certain diseases.
Chris also touched on a few things in the works with GPEN, and how G LIFE has bridged the gap between so many aspects of culture. Get familiar with GPEN if you haven’t already done so, because they have already have a chokehold on the smoker community.
