Yesssss! Another exciting week!
So Ludacris sent me a protools session for one of the records I produced
on his upcoming album & not only is the record retarded but to my
surprise when I played the record…..hey, what do u know?…there was
another platinum guest on the song. I think he wants it to be a surprise
so I can’t tell you who it is but TRUST! Its a record you all will be
talking about.
This was also another successful week @ my Smashtime Saturday party @
Body English in the Hard Rock in Las Vegas…the whole Daily ten from E!
Was in attendance & my man DJ Eman from Power 106 did a guest DJ set. I
also spoke to Ray-J today, who’s album drops April 8th & we are going to
have his official albumrelease party sometime in April…Stay tuned for
the exact date. You know he’s signed to Shaquille O’Neals label so maybe
the big man will be there..Also got Bun B coming to celebrate his album
release party on April 19th & I produced the title track for his album
titled “2 Trill”…Get Familiar!Spoke w/ my man DJ Scream this week & he linked me up w/ Shawty Lo to
get involved w/ my mixtape extravaganza I told ya’ll about last
week…Konnected to A Kon” mixtape album w/ Akon feat all new records I
produced w/ everyone on it..dropping in like 4-5 weeks….free for all

music/Interscope, his name is Colby Odonis. Well, I got the word that
they will be using one of the records I produced as the 2nd single off
his album & its called “Sophisticated Bad Girl”. His 1st single “What
you got” feat: Akon is climbing up the charts quickly. Get Familiar w/
that!As I’m writing this I’m in my hotel watching the movie wedding crashers
for the 30th time…such a funny ass movie. “Ma, the meatloaf” anyhow
I’m simultaneously writing lyrics to some of my beats & listening to
music people send me on myspace…Seriously! I get sooooooo much garbage
sent to me it makes me almost not want to listen to anyone but then I
wouldn’t be doing my job as a DJ finding new music to break but damn
dude, don’t tell me “I know you hear this all the time man but I’m
different, I spit that real shit. I’m the nicest out” & save the cocky
“yo if u don’t fuck with me, you ‘ll see @ the top next to you w/
someone else” or “I’m better than anyone out now I just need the right
people”. A piece of advice that is not the way to approach someone.
Would you go for a job interview like that?? Anyway that’s a whole other
blog…I got to get back to writing. Talk to ya’ll next week.
