The phenomenon of holograms is not going away any time soon, if Hologram USA has anything to do with it. The company has partnered with the Whitney Houston estate to bring a hologram of the late superstar to a “a major U.S. venue” and possibly on tour. The performances are planned to be streamed through the app FilmOn, which is owned by Alki David, the same owner of Hologram USA.
Hologram Whitney will be performing a selection of her greatest hits and have an interactive component as well. The debut of the hologram is supposed to happen in 2016.
