Allan Kingdom released his Northern Lights mixtape right at the top of the year, but we haven’t forgotten about it for a second. By the looks of things, neither has Kinda Neat, who invited him onto their podcast series for a long interview and performance.
The Saint Paul rapper headed into to booth to perform “The Ride,” the before-the-intro track on his latest project. The song, which references Kanye West’s “Drive Slow” in the hook, was the perfect way to start off Northern Lights, after his appearance on “All Day.”
He killed it, of course.
