Remember when Amerie dropped “Why R U” & fans everywhere deemed it a smash? Then soon enough, as good as the song was, it slowly fazed out? Even the remix was hardbody. Musically though, this doesn’t sound like it has that same feeling. Maybe we need to let it marinate for a little longer. Amerie is definitely one of the more underrated R&B singers of our day though. via YK
