We’re approaching five long years since Ameriie released her last album, but she shows some signs of a return with her latest offering. “What I Want” takes a notable sample from The Sugar Hill Gang’s “Apache (Jump On It)” who turns the energy into her own with a free-spirited affair. Here’s hoping her fifth studio album sees the light of day in 2014, as this has the credentials to have the ladies singing this summer.
